Fitment help

Use the build plate, series and handed side to narrow the part, then send your VIN through the contact page if you want fitment confirmed before purchase.

Check fitment before you order

To work out which part fits, use the details on your vehicle and match them to the listing. Every listing states the part, the vehicle make and model, the series, the build month range it suits, and the side where the part is handed.

Aftermarket Parts Australia sells new replacement car parts for Australian delivered vehicles in two grades, Genuine OEM and Quality aftermarket. The catalogue covers about 10,000 parts across 32 vehicle makes and 264 models.

What to look for

  • The vehicle make and model
  • The series
  • The build month range
  • The side the part fits, such as left or right
  • The part type shown in the listing

Use the build plate

Your build plate is one of the main ways to narrow fitment. Check the build month and compare it with the month range shown on the listing. If the month range does not match, the part may not suit your vehicle.

If you are not sure how to read the build plate, compare the vehicle details with the listing before you order. The listing information is there to help you match the part to the correct vehicle series and build period.

Check the series

The series matters because vehicles of the same make and model can have different parts across different series. Match the series on your vehicle to the series shown on the listing. If the series is different, do not assume the part will fit.

Check the side

Some parts are handed. That means the left and right sides are different. Check the listing for the side before you order, especially for mirrors, lighting, body panels, bumpers and grilles.

  • Left and right parts are not always interchangeable
  • Handed parts are listed with the side they suit
  • Match the side to your vehicle before buying

If you want fitment confirmed

You can send your VIN through the contact page and the team will confirm the fit before purchase. This is the best option if you are not sure about the build plate, series or side.

Other order details

Freight is calculated at checkout from the delivery postcode and the size of the part. Large panels travel as bulky freight on a pallet network, while smaller parts go as parcels.
